Numbers run from 1 upwards, cheapest first. Nothing here says a hospital is a better place to be treated — we hold no clinical or outcome data at all.

Pill colour runs from $114.27 (the lowest price on this scale, green) to $168.05 (the highest price, red). The colour only repeats what each pill already prints — the figure itself — and says nothing about the care.

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. The street tiles are the one thing on this site your browser fetches from a third party — on this page only — so the tile server sees your IP address the way any website you visit does. No search term, no postcode and nothing you typed is in those requests.

Hospitals are placed at the centre of their postcode, not at their front door, so a marker can sit a few streets from the building it names. Distances are postcode to postcode for the same reason. Where hospitals share a postcode, their markers are fanned a street's width apart so each stays readable — the spacing is ours, not a claim about their addresses, and the distances are unaffected.

The number is this hospital's position in the order, cheapest first, and it is the same number the list below carries. Select a marker for the hospital's name, its published figure and the way through to its prices.
The figure on the pill is the hospital's own lowest published figure for this search, exactly as published — the same number the list below carries, so the price reads with no colour at all.
Color by price tints each pill on a scale from the lowest price (green) to the highest price (red) in this result. The tint repeats what the pill already prints and carries nothing of its own; the plain pills say everything without it.
A dashed outline means there is something to know about what that hospital published, spelled out in the list below. A dashed marker with a letter instead of a number is a hospital we have withheld from the ranking.
Nothing on this map ranks hospitals by their care. We hold no clinical or outcome data about any hospital at all — only how completely each one published its prices.

Sorted cheapest first. A published figure that behaves like a placeholder rather than a real price — one cent, or a figure orders of magnitude below what other hospitals publish for the same billing code — never leads this order. It stays listed, after every other figure, ordered by its own amount among the others like it.
